Reception is the name given to our kindergarten 1 classes. It is the receiving class for ideal school age children (ie. 4-5years). It is thus the first year in a regular school and the learners are prepared for primary education at this stage. It is the bridge between preschool and the more formal school. The warmth in this class sets the tone for adjustments into the regular school.
This is the first year after Reception or the first year of being a regular school learner. It symbolizes the 1st year of compulsory education. Learners here are aged between five and seven. New potentials are discovered and built on at this stage for continual growth.
